Dodie Manuel is of the Shuswap band of Canada. Dodie has worked for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as the editor for the Au-Authm Action News close to 11 years. Prior to working as the tribal newspaper editor she worked as a publishing coordinator on a series of educational books and materials in Canada.
One of the main reasons Dodie sought a board position with the Miracle House Foundation is that she believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the benefits and rewards of owning your own home. |
